https://s.docworkspace.com/d/AFfSdQCSod0a4PjNx5GdFA -- A TRIBUTE AND CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE OCCASION OF THE DEPARTURE TO GLORY BY OUR COLLEAGUE, REV. EDET GEORGE On behalf of my family, the Leadership and Membership of the CMF, I convey our condolence to the Senior Pastor and the Foursquare Cathedral of His Excellency, Asokoro, Abuja, on the shocking news about the sudden departure of our Brother and Ministry Colleague - Rev. Edet George Offong - who until his home-going was also an Assistant Pastor at the Cathedral of His Excellency. We also extend our condolence and prayers for the children, other family members and the leadership and membership of the Adonai Missions International, which Brother Edet founded and led till his home-going. We at the CMF, and in fact the Missions Community in Nigeria and Africa who have labored together with him in the mission arena, are very much impacted by this incidence. Brother Edet George was one of the pioneers and founding members of the Christian Missionary Foundation (CMF) right from its inception. He pioneered our CMF fields in Liberia and Central African Republic as well as served as the Principal of the CMF School of Missions, Idere, at a point. He was released to start the Adonai Mission International through which he continued serving the Lord in Central African Republic (CAR) and beyond after the first six years of the CAR ministry under CMF. He was with us last year at the CMF ADC 2018. His demise is a very deep blow to all of us who know him very well and have served with him in the mission circle. But we submit to the Sovereignty of the Lord even in such a circumstance that we cannot understand fully on this side of eternity, knowing fully well that he fought the good fight, finished the race, kept the faith, and has now returned to his reward in the presence of the Lord who he served so unreservedly. Reuben Ezemadu International Director of CMF For and on behalf of the Christian Missionary Foundation, Inc
